About ShipCalc

Our purpose

Shipping charges are often driven by more than what a parcel weighs on a scale. Carriers commonly compare actual weight with dimensional weight and bill the higher value. ShipCalc exists to make that logic clear and usable in seconds.

We built ShipCalc as a free browser-based utility for:

• Small e-commerce sellers checking packaging impact on cost
• Independent sellers estimating whether collected shipping fees cover expenses
• Individuals who want to understand billable weight before arranging a shipment

What you can do with ShipCalc

• Calculate package volume, dimensional weight, and estimated billable weight

What ShipCalc is not

• Not financial, tax, or customs advice

How we keep the tool trustworthy

Calculations run in your browser. Formulas and assumptions are shown in the result breakdown. We clearly separate estimates from official carrier quotes. Read our Disclaimer and Guides for details.
